BES - POWERpackTrans Processing Order

The POWERpack Transformer runs several processes on the event that comes through a message channel.

The order is as follows:
  • SMARTView Rules Processing - Normalisation of the event
      Set Global Seperators
      Set Rule Seperators (Overrides Any Global Seperators)
      Apply Seperators
      Set Global Delimiters
      Set Rule Delimiters (Overrides Any Global Delimiters)
      Apply Delimiters
      Apply Rule if Keys Match
        Set General Rule Timeout
        Set General Rule Definitions (Timeout, Severity, Recurring Timeout, Alert Delay)
        Action Template if defined
        Action Categorisation
        Assign Help Text
        Assign Destination
        Perform Rule Logic
        Perform CAF Global Logic
        Perform CloseAlerts Processing
        Create Passthrough Alert (1)
        End of Processing
      If suppressed then End Of Processing
      Execute Enrichment Policies
        Create Enriched Alerts (1)
        End of Processing
      Create Normalised Alert (1)
      End of Processing
  1. Alert Creation     
      Format Alert with Field Resolution 
      Perform Evm Processing (2)
      Create Alert in AlertServer
      Obtain alertId
      Notify Evm of alertId (2)
      Processing Evm SQL Commands
      Issue Close Alerts
      End of Processing
      2. Evm Processing

      Re-Cycle Evm if Required
      Send data to Evm Process
      Process Results from Evm 
  • ISSEvm
   Check Evm Conditions
   Execute UserExit when alertId set
   Obtain Actions and return to POWERpackTrans 
  • AlertServer
   Handle new alerts from
   Internal Creation of Service State Alerts
   Internal Creation of Service Track Alerts
   Perform Evc Correlation if Enabled
   Perform Alert Timeouts
   Perform Close Alerts Processing from
   Furbish WebClients with Alerts / Events
   Furbish Reporting with Alerts
   Furbish dbi with Alerts / Events
  • dbi
   Database Alerts / Events.
   Database Evc Repository Information if Enabled.
