BES Integration - What is the difference between /iiRC/ISSservice and /iiRC/bin/iiDaemon?

Last Updated: May 06, 2014 10:56AM UTC
/iiRC/bin/iiDaemon is a Unix daemon that receives events from a standalone iiAgent or other connecting process. iiDaemon is multi‚Äźthreaded; it will start a new thread for every inbound connection request it receives and the thread will continue serving the connection as long as the sending program requires.

/iiRC/ISSservice is the actual Windows service, and the ISSservice.ini file is its cfg file. The ini file tells ISSservice what programs to invoke.
