Message Channels reporting "Timeout occurred obtaining results from AlertServer" in the POWERpack_Log.
The POWERpackTrans has sent a new event into the AlertServer and has failed to receive and appropriate response within a given timeframe. The timeframe is currently 2 minutes.
1. The event is malformed or contains an invalid value that the AlertServer is unable to deal with. This generally results in the Timeout being reported almost immediately. An example of such a problem might be if a new alert contains a none-numeric timeout value set by Enrichment or SMARTView Logic.
2. Severe System Issues such as a filesystem being full, Disk Failures, Memory or Network issues.
3. An AlertServer problem - Check for 'java.lang' errors in the POWERpack_Log
4. The Supporting BES Database is experiencing Problems.
Investigate potential causes and take appropriate actions.
