BES Reporting - ReportingClient_Log showing "Reporting not enabled"

Problem

Reporting server not connecting to ReportingCLient, with the following error logged to the $PPLOG/ReportingClient_Log:

20150331 13:07:29 WorkFileServer: Reporting not enabled 

Solution

Firstly, check that Reporting is enabled in the BSD Admin Console > Reporting Administration > Start/Stop Connectivity (the screenshot below shows Reporting in an enabled state)



Secondly, the ReportingClient should get a message back from the Reporting Server to tell it what work file and line to start sending from. If a connection is made to Reporting, but nothing is sent back, check the Reporting logs, and recycle Reporting if necessary.
