BES - I cannot run a query from BSD. Failed to return results from database with exception

Problem


Unable to run alert queries from the Business Service Dashboard. No results are returned.
 

Solution


Check that the following directory exists on the BES Server:

$PPHOME/eScape/webapps/axis/WEB-INF/classes/ilink/utils/wclient

If it does not exist, Copy them over from an existing directory as follows:

1. cd $PPHOME/eScape/webapps/escapex/WEB-INF/classes
2. tar -cvpf ilink.tar ilink
3. cp ilink.tar $PPHOME/eScape/webapps/axis/WEB-INF/classes
4. cd $PPHOME/eScape/webapps/axis/WEB-INF/classes
5. tar -xvpf ilink.tar
6. Recycle the BES web client (as root user, run: /opt/ISS/POWERpack/bin/ppwcStop & /opt/ISS/POWERpack/bin/ppwcStart).
