Currently we have users in an AD Group, who access BES and gain access, :
User --> BESGroup. BES then looks up this group in AD to check who it contains.
What we've been asked is if we can use nested groups :
User --> TeamGroup
TeamGroup --> BESGroup
So in AD terms, BesGroup contains TeamGroup, TeamGroup contains User
Does the BES authentication process work with the user being in a nested group?
The ability to do what you require is not currently available as part of the existing AD authentication support.
If you require this feature then please raise as a problem rather than a question and we will go from there. In terms of development effort we would be looking at 3 days including development, doc & testing.
This piece of work would be considered low priority.
