Business Service Dashboard - Occurrences field

Hi,

COuld you please advise me how "occurrences" field of Interlink's BUSINESS SERVICE DASHBOARD gets updated? I believe it is an internal field. Can you please advise me the condition it checks before updating that field?

Hi Sedhu,

Thanks for raising this with us. BES will match on any field that has been mapped. All of the mapped fields will need to match for it to increase the occurrence.

Fields can be excluded from the occurrences from within the CAF editor in SMARTView.

It would be really helpful if you could tell me how to launch SMARTView and then CAF editor. Any document on this would be highly helpful. Thanks!

Issue which I am facing here is - If there is any similar event I am getting individual events in BES. Ideally, I would expect "Occurrences" field to increment by one. So I am trying to troubleshoot it.

As you say all the mapped fields will need to match, do you mean the ones we define in our mapping file? Should "UniqueId" filed in mapping files need to match ? Apologies, I am bit new to this.

Yes. Please. For the moment, I was able to ignore that UniqueID field by making it as N/A in the mapping fileds which fixed the issue. Thanks a lot for your help!
